Mission Statement

Be daring. Be free. Be adventurous.

That’s the cure to your troubles, the only way to find happiness. It may not be constant, as pure happiness only exists within a moment, but within this happiness, there is contentment. And that can last a lifetime, no matter how long or short it may be.

AdventureCure is the idea that living without borders is what makes this world a better place. Promoting understanding, love, and a hedonic pursuit of discovery. Feeling the adrenaline in your bones when you surprise even yourself with your capabilities. Trying new things. Hearing different voices. Appreciating the Earth. That’s what it’s all about!

Have fun! Do stuff! When else will you but now?

About Me

My name is Reema, I’m 18 years old, and I live in Southern California. I’m a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200), vegetarian and animal lover, environmental activist, writer at heart, and of course, an avid adventure-seeker.

I lived in Encinitas, California, for about 17 years, and in my senior year of high school, I moved across the country to Rochester Hills, Michigan. This radical change prompted me to start adventurecure.org, and now that I’m back in California, I look forward to bringing you guys, my amazing, adventurous second family, the best content I can to inspire you to live your life to the fullest.

I try to post a new adventure every 2 or so days. I hope you enjoy this blog and my stories!

      1. I’m sorry to tell you this, but the last two comments above are not really interacting as they are coming through in _my_ email and they are obviously not meant for me.

I’m sorry I can’t tell you what the problem is, either.

  1. Enjoyed your posts and wish the best in the Midwest. I was your age when I moved from the midwest to San Diego. You’ll have fun where ever you go if you have the right attitude.

  2. Hey! I saw that you like my blog post and wanted to thank you for visiting my site! I hope you enjoy it and I am so excited to read about some of your visits. I literally was just about to write a blog post about slide rock in AZ and saw that you just did! Anyway, just wanted to say thanks and that I am excited to see where you have been in AZ so I can go too!

  3. Good luck in your new surroundings! I love to try out new places and I bet you’ll find a lot of great things to do there. I love San Diego but I miss those other, greener parts of the world! Enjoy! And thanks for liking my post about Coronado:)

  4. Thanks for liking my post on Graham Hills! Were you on the Meerkat stream today? Looking at your blog, it seems we travel in similar geographic areas. I’m glad we’ve met. Keep traveling and writing! I look forward to seeing where you go next.

  5. Hello from a native Michigander. I hope Michigan will be good to you. Such a radical change in climate for you, and somewhat a culture shock too! Wife and I left Michigan 2 years ago, love Las Vegas!

  6. Hey Adventurecure,
Yeah, you DO have a simple but pure mission statement that young and old should live by. Good for you for discovering it already. That spontaneous feeling came over me the day I went on the hike I wrote about. It’s no secret. I am glad you got something out of reading it. In particular, I hope people like you read it, those who might appreciate it most. I’m curious, how did you come across it to even know it existed? I’m glad you found it. Again, thanks for reading and sending along your LIke to introduce yourself. Good luck. Write back.

  7. Hey Reema I’ve nominated you for the Liebster award. If you decide to accept, the instructions are here – amariajoana.wordpress.com/2015/10/26/the-liebster-award
    Have a great week!
