San Francisco is my favorite city that I’ve been to so far. As one of the most hip and urban places in the world, adventure is limitless in the city on the bay. I’ve decided to split up my review on this amazing town into two parts: the more urban spaces, and the more natural. Some of these were an even mix of the two, so I just distributed them among the two posts evenly.
I’ve been to San Francisco three times, and I fall in love with it more and more every time I come. It has some of the most beautiful natural sights in California, and I love the vibe of those parts of town. Let’s dive in.
Lands End
A gorgeous hiking trail, Lands End is reminiscent to me of Big Sur.
The 3.5 mile (roundtrip) trail starts next to the Sutro Baths, another cool place to stop by. It zig zags through some gorgeous cliffs on the San Francisco coastline, and offers a far (but still gorgeous) view of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Golden Gate Park
This park sits smack dab in the middle of the city,a sort of equivalent to New York’s Central Park. There is an endless amount of things to do here, from paddle rowing around Stow Lake to checking out the Japanese Tea Garden.
Twin Peaks
This spot offers pristine views of the entire city of San Francisco, up on a chilly mountaintop. Twin Peaks is perfect for a date or just a spot to relax at and take in the amazing views of San Francisco.
Stay tuned for part 2, which I’ll publish on Sunday!
I’ve been to San Francisco twice but haven’t thought of going to lands End. I will need to make sure to get there this year when I go back. Looks amazing!

I was only in the San Francisco area for about a day, but I thought the city was incredibly cool and the surrounding areas very beautiful. Great Chinese food too!
